STUSSY NEW YORK CITY GRAND OPENING

After a brief absence, one of the cornerstones of urban fashion, Stussy, is back again in New York City. This newest rendition is situated right where the former UNION New York used to be and just blocks away from original Stussy New York City location. Though the storefront, at first glance, looks similar to that of UNION. One would shortly notice it to be more spacious than the former. During the 1 month period, construction crew busied themselves with fresh coat of paint and veneer. Additional lighting were installed as well as the rearrangement of several sections, including footwear, which is now part of accessories up front (minus Visvim). A brand new inventory system was added also. What did not change, however, is the same helpful & knowledgeable management and staff, a lasting legacy of UNION.


To mark its grand opening, Stussy New York City curated several limited merchandises exclusive to the store only. This include a set of collaboration chukka boots with Timberland and original graphic t-shirts in black or white. The demand for these item were such that a queue of 30+ people formed right before the store opened at Noon. Due to the renovation period, several OriginalFake products were held back till the new space is ready. Hence, Stussy will be the few retailers you will find the already sold out KAWS x Hajime Sorayama - OriginalFake NO FUTURE COMPANION Figure in Silver, the backpack from OriginalFake x PORTER - Eyes Pattern Collection, and more…

The Hundreds POST x RSWD New Era’s

This week, The Hundreds releases two limited edition New Era fitted hats, and two matching T-shirts. The release consists of a “RSWD” New Era & tee based on the street address of the THLA retail space, done in LA-inspired colors (blue and red for the clippers (booo) ) lol, and a “POST” New Era fitted and matching tee, based on the THSF location, which utilizes SF-inspired colors ( the black and purple for the sac. kings) . The “RSWD” New Eras and tees will only be available at the THLA store, and similarly, the “POST” New Eras and tees will be exclusively available at the THSF location. Only 100 of each fitted hat & T-shirt will be available.

The Skinny Jeans Phase;

I honestly feel that skinny jeans are going to go out of style in due time. I know some of you are thinking, "They been out of style", but im talking about on a larger scale. I'm not saying that i'm going to sell all my skinny jeans that i have, but i am going to change my style just a little bit. I honestly feel that in a few seasons alot of people are going to start dressing how im going to start dressing this spring. I might be wrong but my intuition hasnt failed me yet. The style im going to pick up is a more casual, classy look. More slack type pants instead of denim jeans. And they're going to be straight leg instead of skinny. Now dont get me wrong i love the skinny jean look, its pretty dope but i feel like its time for change and if anyones going to do start the change... WHY NOT BE ME! lol. i didnt get trend setter in highschool for nothing lol..
